This skill is used on a daily basis in life when ever purchasing something small or large.Numbers & Operations in Base Ten- uses place value to round multi-digit numbers to any place. Measurement story -This is a 12 minute story about how we settled on a common unit of measure. Their is a Brain Pop video clip that is similar but much more exciting than this video.
