Lattice Multiplication - This clip illustrates the lattice method using the same problems used in the pickle power method.
Multiplying by Tens- This is similar to the other clip on this site about multiplying with the power of ten but is broken down into a simple segment.
Multiplying by Ten Multiplying by Hundreds - these skills are essential for projecting costs for a big ticket item like college, cars, apartments, houses, and/or a living space.

This skill is used on a daily basis in life when ever purchasing something small or large.Numbers & Operations in Base Ten- uses place value to round multi-digit numbers to any place. (This is where it can be found on the report card).
Single Digit Multiplication by Multi Digit - This clip is one of the first steps to master before mastering multi digit multiplication.
The In Out Machine -This clip is an effect example of how to apply multiplication and division skills at a higher cognitive level.

6, 7, & 8 the last lesson-These skills should be mastered before fourth grade but I have noticed these are the most difficult to master in third.www.multiplication.com offers a variety of different lessons, games, flash cards, and other activities to help master multiplication. Measurement story -This is a 12 minute story about how we settled on a common unit of measure. Their is a Brain Pop video clip that is similar but much more exciting than this video.
Metric Poster -This is an example of a metric poster we used to help understand the metric system.

Double Digit Multiplication -This is often called the tradition method for solving double digit multiplication problems. We draw a pickle in place of the zero and call the process pickle power.
